1. Q. What does it cost to sign with REJOICE! Talent Agency?
A. Nothing. Any agency that charges as a prerequisite to signing is ILLEGITIMATE.  They may offer to manage your career with a Management leg of their company or recommend an affiliate or referral for a fee, but not mandatory to being signed. The agency has the right to accept or decline you as a "talent signed"  depending solely on your talent and/or look given the category they would place you under (Actor/actress, Model,  Musician, Dancer, etc.). However, as of June 1, 2010, RTA will give first submission consideration to those with activated 800casting accounts. It is mandatory for certain submission due to the client's request. The cost is $29.95 per year. RTA receives NO monetary gain whatsoever. It simply makes submitting to our clients complete, professional, and simple making it beneficial for the Agency, Client, and the Talent collectively. 

It is suggested to Upgrade the RTA website to increase your information to all our visitors. The cost is a one time fee of $29.95 and monetary gain does go to the agency. It is NOT mandatory, but highly suggested to have, both, RTA Upgrade and 800casting for optimum exposure.

2. Q. If I don't pay to be represented by the agency, then how does the agency make money?
A. Simple, we make money when we send you out on legitimate auditions. If you book the part (get the job for the role/position), then REJOICE! earns 10% of the gross income from Union workers (SAG, AFTRA, or Equity), and 20%  from Non-Union talent.  The talent earns 80 - 90 percent of the gross income.

3. Q. What ages does REJOICE! represent
A. Ages 3 - Adult (possibly signing babies in the future....stay posted if interested)

4. Q. Do I need to take classes or lessons with REJOICE! Performing Arts Studio in order to sign with REJOICE! Talent Agency
A. No. You may get trained where ever you wish. However, we do offer an excellent program to enhance your skills if need...regardless to whether we sign you with us or not..

5. Q.Is REJOICE! Performing Arts Studio and REJOICE! Talent Agency one and the same?
A. No. While they have the same CEO and utilize the same building, they are two separate entities.  You may be signed with one, both, or neither.

6. Q. If I don't live in North Carolina, can REJOICE! send me on auditions out of state?
A. Yes. Currently we have contacts to send you to NYC, LA, SC, and VA. for an audition.  

7. Q. If I sign with REJOICE!, can I still sign with other agencies in NC.
A. No. Not unless they are non-exclusive, but you can be signed with a NC Management Firm for Performing Artists.

8. Q. If I sign with REJOICE!, can I sign with other agencies outside of NC
A. Yes.

9. Q. If I sign with REJOICE! and a agency outside of NC and that agency books me a job in NC, can I take the job thru them?
A. Yes.

10. Q. How long is the contract with REJOICE!?
A. Two years. If happy with our service beyond that, the contract stays in effect unless either party submits request for termination.  The release is official 30 days after the written request is RECEIVED...not written. If send via email, be sure to be a "recipient" tag on it that you can keep tabs on when it was read. After the two year minimum, the contract continues indefinitely in force until either the Agency or the Talent give written cancellation of it's content. From that point, within 30 days, the contract is null and void.

11. Q.What if I want to get out of the contract to lack of service before the 2 year contract....and I submit a 30 day written notice for release?
A. Yes, the contract may be cancelled by the talent or the agency prior to the two year contract with written notice.

12. Q. How do I get a copy of the contract if you agree to sign me on?
A. Click on "Contact Us" and submit a request for the contact documents. Document will be emailed to you within 72 hours to print, sign, scan, and resend back to agency.  Agent will sign and resend the copy with both parties signature back to you to keep on file. Bring in the ORIGINAL FORM you first signed to the studio for the agent to sign in person and keep on file at the agency.

13. Q. If you accept me as talent, how do I  receive a contract  if I do not live in Fayetteville, NC?
A. Click on "Contact Us" and fill out the form requesting a copy of the contract documents. You will be sent the documents within 72 business hours. Sign it, scan it, re-send the signed document to RejocieTalentAgency@yahoo.com. The agency will sign it and resend the final copy to you.  SNAIL MAIL the original form you printed out and signed to REJOICE! Talent Agency, 223 Tallywood Shopping Center, Fayetteville, NC 28303. It will be signed by an agent and kept on file. You keep the copy sent to you signed by both the talent and the agent. The ORIGINAL MUST BE SENT TO THE AGENCY TO BE KEPT ON FILE.

14. Q. Where is the agency located?

17. Q. Do I need to be submitted through  the agency for "extras" and promo work that are non-paying gigs?
A. No. However,  you must put "REJOICE! Talent Agency" in the place provided on the voucher given to you at the set.. RTA  gets paid nothing.

18. Q. Do I need to be submitted through the agency for paying extras' work that I get on my own?
A. No.  However, you are to use your RTA resume' as you Mother Agency and  R does receive 20% from non-union, and 10% for union RTA talents.  Failure to be 100% honest in this area is grounds for immediate termination without notice and the risk of black balling oneself from all RTA contacts that are Industry Professionals.

19. Q. If I  book a job on my own as an extra with no input from RTA,  is the RTA resume to be used for submitting myself.?
A. Yes. It's best not to do so unless you are 100% sure of the legitimacy of the project. RTA is released from covering your financial safety and any other mishaps that may happen on a job not sent out by  RTA. However, RTA still receives 20% from non-union, and 10% from Union talents .

20. Q. If I book a job as principal on my own with no help from any agency, do I still owe REJOICE! a commission?
A. Yes. But we promise to do our part to bring you all the best information for castings  so that you will not have to seek it on your own. That's how the agency earns an income.

21. Q. What will happen if I land a casting on my own and do not give a commission?
A. Legal action may be taken against you where you would be subpoenaed to court to  honor your contract,. You will be released from the agency and black listed to all contacts that REJOICE! may have in the industry due to poor business ethics.
